What happens during the 30-day free trial?

You get full access to every feature — payroll processing, time tracking, scheduling, HR tools, and more. No credit card is required to start. At the end of your trial you can activate your subscription to keep your data and continue using PayLink.

How does per-employee pricing work?

You pay a $29/month base fee plus $4 per active employee per month. "Active" means any employee or hourly worker on your roster — contractors paid by invoice are not counted. If you have 10 active employees, your monthly bill is $29 + (10 × $4) = $69.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel from your Billing page at any time. Your data remains available for export even after cancellation.

What happens to my data if I don't subscribe?

Your data is safe. After the trial expires, your account enters a read-only state — you can still view and export your data, but payroll processing and write operations are paused until you activate a subscription.

Does the Starter Plan support multiple companies?

Yes. The Starter Plan includes multi-company support at no extra cost. Each company has its own employees, payroll, and settings. The per-employee fee applies across all companies combined.

When should I consider the Enterprise plan?
